I'm Tesfa. I design, build, and ship every app that goes out under this name. Right now there are two: Stoic Space, an iPhone app I started in 2020, and Abra Voice, a voice utility for Mac and iPhone that's launching in 2026.
Stoic Space is for opening once a day and putting away. Abra Voice is for using all day in the background. They're different apps for different rhythms, but they ship from the same studio.
Stoic Space has been on the App Store since 2020. Abra Voice arrives in 2026. Both will continue to get updates.
My day-to-day work is software design. I'm a contract designer on web and mobile products, mostly with a Winnipeg-based creative collective. The Son of Machine apps are made in parallel with that work, and ship under my own name.
